Charge a percentage of the quantity, such as 2.9% of the value of each transaction. For how the percent pricing model calculates an amount, see Percent pricing model.

Prerequisites

  • A role with the Can Read Product, Can Read Product Pricing, and Can Create Product Pricing permissions. For details, see Permissions.
  • The pricing-preset panel is open, with Percent selected in Pricing Model. For steps, see Create a product or Add a pricing preset.

Set the percentage and the pricing period

  1. In Percentage of amount, enter the percentage, such as 2.9. The percentage must be from 0 to 100.
  2. If the product uses the period-of-time product type, set the pricing period in Pricing Period:
    • Select Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, or Annual.
    • Or select Custom, enter a number in Every, and select Day, Month, or Year in Cadence.
Pricing Period appears only for products that use the period-of-time product type. Monthly is the default.
