See [Shortfall on the invoice](/docs/20260301/product-modules/contracts/concepts/line-items/minimum-commitments#shortfall-on-the-invoice).

### Commitment period

The period over which Zenskar compares the actual usage or spend with the minimum.

### Contract

An agreement that records what a customer buys from you, at what price, and for how long.

See [Contracts: what you agree with a customer](/docs/20260301/product-modules/contracts/concepts/contracts#contracts-what-you-agree-with-a-customer).

### Contract duration

## D

### Discount

See [Draft and active contracts](/docs/20260301/product-modules/contracts/concepts/contracts#draft-and-active-contracts).

## E

### Evaluation mode

The rule that decides when Zenskar checks the minimum and bills the shortfall within a commitment period.
